In this first session of the series, we will introduce the concept of team coaching in the wider systemic context and what to expect in the rest of the series. In this interactive and practical session, we’ll explore proven tools and frameworks to help raise the team’s awareness of the system in which it operates and how it helps a team to improve its performance. Shifting from Coaching the Individual to Coaching the System with ORSC (Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching)

🗣️ Chris Howell & Nairy McMahon
Tuesday 26th March 2024 | 17:00 - 18:30 GMT

Have you ever wondered how to coach a system or a team? How as a coach do you honour and welcome the individual experience whilst honouring and welcoming the experience of the team / system as a whole? How do you stay present to what is emerging in the relationship? Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching, or ORSC, is a revolutionary coaching programme which does just that. It equips coaches with tested tools and skills and a set of foundational principles, to coach systems/teams of any size.

Chris Howell

For my coaching clients, both leaders and teams, together we build their understanding and efficacy, first of themselves and then of the people systems they wish to influence. I only take on coaching clients who I really believe in. I request their commitment to be fully who they can be, and I match their commitment and more, within the coaching relationship. Every client I have leaves me profoundly inspired as they achieve their outcomes and make real who they have aspired to be.

I am passionate about what I do. I enjoy every day that I have the opportunity to contribute and to create greater value. I seek continuously to find ways of improving value. I believe real value only increases where there is integrity, and that to deliver reliably means understanding the issues underlying what clients really want and need.

For 30+ years, I developed, managed, led and supported organization change. I have designed and delivered business information systems on client facing projects through ICL(UK)Ltd and P-E Inbucon and subsequently as an independent consultant working collaboratively within teams across a wide range of different sectors including manufacturing, financial services, non-profit, central and local government.

Before my current career, I developed, managed, lead and supported organization change. At Reuters Plc, I managed key business change programmes, working closely with Directors and providing progress and risk reports to the Reuters Group Board. I have also coached and trained business executives, project managers and senior staff in education. pharmaceutical, oil, defence, public arts, non-profit, finance and technology sectors.

Introduction to Systemic Coaching and Constellations

🗣️ Eileen Moir
Tuesday 16th April 2024 | 17:00 - 18:30 GMT
🏆 CC: 1.25 | RD: 0.25

The focus of this session will be an introduction to the field of systemic constellations and how these can be used to make the often-hidden dynamics that can limit progress and growth in teams and organisations more visible. The session will showcase simple yet powerful ways to uncover hidden dynamics and patterns in teams. You will leave with a fresh understanding of constellations and tools you can weave into your own coaching practice.

Eileen Moir

Eileen is founding director of Turning Tides, a bespoke consultancy and executive coaching practice established in 2012. Before that she was an Executive Director in the NHS with over 30 years’ experience working in complex public sector organisations. Her last NHS role was as an Executive Director with the body that leads on healthcare improvement in Scotland. In 2013 she was awarded an OBE for her work in leading change in the health and care sector.

Eileen has an MSc in Management and an Ashridge Masters in Leadership. She trained and is accredited as an Executive Coach with Ashridge and as a Supervisor for Coaching and Consultancy with the Tavistock Institute. She has undertaken extensive training in Systemic Coaching and Facilitation and is a member of the teaching faculty with Coaching Constellations and a guest tutor with Henley Business School on their Team and Systemic Coaching Programme. Her approach also benefits from 18 years’ experience as a mental health practitioner.

Eileen works with leaders and teams across the sectors in the UK and abroad. She has a particular interest in helping people and organisations navigate complex change. Eileen views the world through a systemic lens but also draws on a range of psychological, business and change frameworks. When change is stuck the constraints are often obscured within the relational system. A systemic approach helps to illuminate hidden dynamics and relational entanglements to bring fresh insights and move things forward.
