Join our Team Coaching Specialists, Jeremy Sweeney, Nathalie McAree and Lucy Widowson for a 4-part series exploring the gaps that challenge team coaches—from skills and self-awareness to team dynamics and deeper dialogue.
In this first episode of our 4-part series, we explore those moments when we feel disorganised, unsure, or ineffective as team coaches. These situations can shake our usual confidence and capabilities.
Using a powerful case study and learning from each other’s real experiences, we will explore the personal, emotional and mental impact of these moments—and end the isolation of feeling like “it’s just me.” Consider ways to support and resource ourselves and each other during these times.
This session is for you if you’ve ever questioned your capability and want to understand how to grow through it—with the help of your peers.

This episode explores the hidden parts of ourselves that influence how we show up as team coaches - especially the parts we may prefer not to acknowledge.
Through a courageous personal story and shared insight, we'll explore: the blind spots and shadow traits that can show up in our work and how recognising and accepting these parts of ourselves can deepen our effectiveness.
Expect engaging breakout discussions and honest reflection, supported by input from experiences team coaches. Join us to better understand how self-awareness and self-acceptance can transform our coaching.
All teams (and team coaches) face topics that feel too risky to raise - those elephants in the room or fish under the table.
In this workshop, we'll explore: what makes these conversations so difficult for teams - and for us as coaches and how to build the courage and skill to help teams navigate sensitive, important issues.
You'll hear raw, honest examples from seasoned coaches and engage in peer-led reflection to build your confidence in tackling these moments. Come to connect, learn and grow your capacity to support truly transformative team dialogue.
It's common for teams to leave a workshop inspired - but not follow through. That drop-off can stall momentum and learning.
In our final session, we'll explore why teams regress or don't act - and how that failure can teach us (and them) valuable lessons. We will also learn how to help teams grow from setbacks, and stay engaged with the work.
With case studies, shared wisdom, and peer-led discussions, we'll look at the psychology of failure and how we as coaches can support more resilient, reflective teams.
Join us as we wrap up the ‘Mind the Gap’ series with a focus on turning regression into learning and growth.
